Key details include a questions deadline of Monday, July 28, 2025 at 4:00 PM Hawaii Standard Time, with quotes to be submitted via email to Garrett.k.wada.civ@health.mil. The document contains vendor questions and government responses regarding technical specifications, including potential modifications to the Statement of Work around immunoassay turnaround times, sample volumes, reagent stability, and Troponin testing options. Most vendor proposed changes were either referred to Attachment 4 for potential modification or denied, with the government maintaining its original requirements.
The solicitation is for a firm-fixed price contract requiring two Chemistry Analyzers capable of testing clinical chemistry and immunodiagnostic samples, including reagents, calibrators, and supplies. The contract will run for a one-year base period from October 1, 2025 to September 30, 2026, with four additional one-year options. Q6. Statement of Work Section 2.12: The specified sample volumes may be restrictive. We propose increasing the allowable range to 1.5–35 μL for chemistry and 2–200 μL for immunoassay.
A6. See Attachment 4 -Statement of Work section 2.12 for change.
Q7. Statement of Work Section 2.15: The onboard reagent stability requirement may be limiting. We suggest revising this to a 30-day stability period.
A7. No change. See Attachment 4 - Statement of Work Section 2.15
Q8. Statement of Work Section 2.16: The requirement for Troponin T may be source-limiting. We recommend allowing either Troponin T or Troponin I. Troponin I has demonstrated higher specificity for cardiac tissue and may o er faster results in emergent situations.
A8. See Attachment 4 -Statement of Work section 2.16 for change.
Q9. Is there a due date for questions to be submitted?
