About this file
This is a presentation about the Software Engineering Center (SEC) Core Capabilities and Public Private Partnership (P3) program. The first section outlines SEC's core capabilities across six key areas: Software Development (including CI/CD, cloud native development, and AI/ML), Software Testing, Cybersecurity, Electromagnetic Warfare Reprogramming, Enterprise Resource Planning, and Software Deployment & Field Support.
The second portion details the Public Private Partnership (P3) program's benefits to industry partners, which includes access to skilled government workforce, secure laboratories, reduced capital investment through shared facilities, and SEC core capabilities like software assurance and cyber security expertise. The P3 program enables collaborative relationships between public and private sectors to maximize resource utilization beyond standard contracts. Key features include long-term use agreements, comparable labor rates, workforce stability, and implementation of industry best practices, with the note that government cannot make a profit. Contact information is provided for the P3 Program Lead and SEC HQ Strategic Advisor for interested parties to get started with the program.
