This support shall include: identifying and recommending pollution prevention solutions to meet compliance with environmental regulations, Executive Orders, DoD/Army policies (i.e. National Emission Standards for Hazardous Air Pollutants (NESHAPS)), conducting and/or providing technical input for pollution prevention surveys, pollution prevention opportunity assessments, and/or providing engineering solutions for specific pollution prevention problems at these facilities. The contractor shall identify problems these facilities are having related to hazardous materials, determine the basis for the requirement to use hazardous materials, and provide recommendations to the installation to solve the problem. For example, the contractor may need to work with these installations to identify problems related to use of materials with Hazardous Air Pollutants (HAPs) and Volatile Organic Compounds (VOCs) and recommend materials solutions that contain no HAPs and no or low VOCs. The contractor shall provide a report IAW the applicable TO and CDRL A002.
C.4.6.1 The Contractor shall ensure that all aspects of contract execution are in compliance with applicable International, United States Federal, State, and Local environmental regulations and requirements; including activities associated with design, build, test, storage, and disposal.
