About this file

This document contains responses to questions from a solicitation for dining facility cook augmentation services at a United States Army facility in Germany. The contractor will be responsible for preparing, cooking, cleaning, and sanitizing services to support the dining facility. Approximately 80% of recipes will be cooked from scratch while 20% will be heat-and-serve or ready-to-eat foods. The contractor staff will work alongside one soldier who will serve as shift leader. No safety issues have been reported between contractor staff and inmates in the past. A site visit is not possible due to COVID restrictions, so the contractor must determine staffing needs based on the solicitation details. The government will provide all food to be prepared by the contractor.
