About this file

This purchase description defines requirements for a continuous emissions monitoring system to be installed at four hazardous waste combustion facilities. The system must monitor carbon monoxide and oxygen within specified ranges and comply with EPA regulations. It will interface with an Allen-Bradley programmable logic controller.

The monitoring system will include extractive probes, heated sample lines, gas conditioning equipment, analyzers and a control system. The analyzers must utilize nondispersive infrared for carbon monoxide and paramagnetic measurement for oxygen. Performance criteria including accuracy, drift and response time are defined. The control system will perform calibration cycles and interface with the PLC via Ethernet.

The supplier must provide factory acceptance testing to validate performance before shipping. Installation and certification services may also be requested. Installation of equipment and provision of calibration gases is specified as work to be performed by others.
