Mission Essential Contractor Services

1. Contractors providing services designated as essential by the Director of

Logistics Readiness Center are expected to use all means at their disposal to continue to provide such services, in accordance with the terms and conditions of the contract during periods of crisis until appropriately released or evacuated by

Government or military authority.

2. The following functional tasks are listed as mission essential services.

(a) Installation Motor Pool Operations to include dispatch and troop transportation (i.e., bus drivers).

(b) Ammunition Supply Point Operations for ammunition issue, as required, to designated security forces.

(c) Maintenance Operations for equipment repair and recovery operations.

(d) Supply Support Activity Operations for issue of emergency repair parts or other supplies required to support emergency operations.

(e) Bulk Fuel and Packaged POL Operations for fuel support to emergency vehicles as well as back-up generators.

(f) Clothing Initial Issue Point for night issue support to arriving receptees.

3. The following functional tasks are listed as essential contractor services:

(a) Installation Motor Pool Operations to include dispatch and troop transportation (i.e., bus drivers).

(b) Ammunition Supply Point Operations:

(1) Receive, Issue, and Store Class V

(2) Maintain accountability of Class V stocks using SAAS-MOD and IAW regulatory requirements

(3) Conduct required inventories

(4) Conduct surveillance operations of Class V stocks

(5) Conduct Turn-in operations

(6) Properly dispose of Class V residue

(7) Ship Class V stocks as directed

(c) Maintenance Operations.

(d) Supply Support Activity Operations:

(1) Issue Items/Parts

(2) Receive Items/Parts

(3) Process TOs and maintain accountability of stocks using GCSS-A

(4) Ship Items/Parts as directed by TO

(5) Process the Turn-in of ZRL and ZRX recoverables

(6) Conduct monthly and annual inventories

(7) Process HAZMAT in EESOH-MIS

(8) Operate Central Receiving

(e) Bulk Fuel and Packaged POL Operations:

(1) Operate CIIP, issuing Phase I and Phase II clothing to basic training soldiers

(2) Receive replenishment stocks

(3) Alter/tailor Phase II uniforms as necessary

(4) Conduct exchanges and accept turn-ins, as appropriate

(5) Maintain accountability using DLA STAMIS system
