The contractor is required to perform remedial repair (RR), preventive maintenance (PM), and calibration (CAL) services on granite surface plates in accordance with the ANSI Z540 standard and the Statement of Work (SOW).

TARA-PQ personnel will conduct 100% inspection of all contractor performance to verify compliance with the QASP requirements. Surveillance methods are defined for five key service areas: Performance (paragraph 4.4, IAW SOW, 0% AQL), Calibrations (paragraph 4.1, IAW ANSI Z-540-1 standards and traceable to N.I.S.T, 100% AQL), Schedule Service (paragraph 4.4, ensuring machines are calibrated/certified on or before due date, 0% AQL), Lapping (paragraph 4.4, ensuring all repairs are authorized by Contracting Officer or Contracting Officer's Representative, 0% AQL), and Service Acceptance Report (paragraph 4.3, ensuring all parts and labor costs are itemized, 0% AQL). TARA-QA personnel will analyze results from all RR, PM, and CAL operations and coordinate any issues with the contractor. All surveillance methods employ 100% inspection with acceptance-quality levels ranging from 0% to 100% depending on the service category.
