About this file

This Sources Sought Notice is issued by the U.S. Army Contracting Command-Rock Island (ACC-RI) seeking potential sources for a replacement static power inverter for the M26 military system. The notice requests capability statements from vendors who can identify, install, and generate replacement instructions for a 12VDC to 220VAC inverter with specific technical requirements, including robust performance in harsh military environments. Key technical specifications include dimensions of 6"X4.5"X5" for the obsolete inverter, storage temperatures from -25°F to 160°F, operating temperatures from 32°F to 125°F, and compliance with MIL-STD-810H standards for secured cargo and humidity.

Vendors must submit capability statements by 12:00 P.M. CST on June 20, 2025, via email to hila.r.anderson.civ@army.mil. The notice emphasizes that this is an information-gathering exercise only, not a formal solicitation or contract commitment. Interested vendors should provide documentation addressing the vendor's size standard, DUNS number, EUI, and Cage Code, demonstrate the ability to find a suitable replacement inverter, identify an installation location within the M26's control panel, conduct verification testing, and generate installation instructions for government technical writers to update maintenance work packages.
