About this file

This is a Wage Determination document issued by the U.S. Department of Labor under the Service Contract Act, applicable to Hawaii. The wage determination (No. 1986-0250, Revision 61, effective 5/13/2026) covers Hawaii Counties of Hawaii, Honolulu, Kalawao, Kauai, and Maui. The document establishes prevailing wage rates for service contract work, specifying an Elevator Repairer position (Occupation Code 23210) at a rate of $76.93 per hour, with fringe benefits to be provided according to occupational listing requirements.

The wage determination includes mandatory provisions for federal contractors. Executive Order 13706 requires contractors to provide one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, up to 56 hours annually, for use related to employee or family member illness, health needs, preventive care, or domestic violence circumstances. Executive Order 13658 applies to applicable contracts awarded between January 1, 2015 and January 29, 2022, establishing a minimum wage of $13.65 per hour (or the applicable wage determination rate if higher) for all covered workers from May 11, 2026 through December 31, 2026. This wage determination directly supports the related solicitation W50SLF26QA002 for elevator repair services at a Department of the Army National Guard facility, with quotes due June 2, 2026.
