Questions & Answers Vertical Storage Carousel

1. Could you provide the clear ceiling height in the area you wish to place the shelving carousel? (Please consider all downward hanging fixtures like beams, sprinklers, gas lines, etc.) Max 28’ H, Max 4’2”D (due to A/C duct)

2. Are we restricted to a max depth of 4'2" (Yes) or can we increase the overall depth of the unit?

restricted depth due to A/C duct at approx. 12’H

3. 36 total carriers - 12 carrier in each of the 3 configuration below correct? Yes

Carrier Dimensions - (The options on a standard unit are) – Which would you like me to quote?

• Carrier Height and Depth: 13'H x 19"D or 18"H x 24"D

• Carrier Width: 72"W, 96"W or 120"W

Note: We can't offer a 48"D carrier. We would have to switch to a vertical Lift, if you needed a storage depth of 48" for each storage location. The overall depth of the unit with a 48"D tray would need to be approx. 14' – 15' deep. Ok, it will not fit in space.

• Plastic Totes – 16"D x 4"W x 4'H with 2 dividers – QTY: 400 – 16"D x 8'W x 4"H w/2 dividers each – Qty. 150 – Correct?

Note: If you selected the unit that has a total of 36 carriers that are each (72"W x 19"D x 13"H). You could eliminate the need for the carriers with 3 total levels. 12 single level carriers and 24 two level carriers would hold a total of 810 totes, half at each of the two dimensions. We could quote a unit like this with up to 40 carriers based on ceiling clearance available Ok, as long as the overall max 28’ H and 4’2” D are still met.

4. Is a minimum size dimension of carriers acceptable as 72.00”W x 14.5”H x 16.9”D clear?

YES.

5. Your requirement had listed 72”W x 20’H x 48”D however that is not physically possible in a maximum overall unit size specified of 8’ 1.5”W x 4’ 2.1”D with 36 carriers.

Main thing is our Maximum OVERALL size of the unit itself, which I believe will fit the carrier listed above
