Question & Answer W50S9G-21-Q-0008
1. Concerning Solicitation# W50S9G21Q0008, the Classification in betaSAM references Product Service Code (PSC) 7D20. I’m used to seeing the Classification show the applicable NAICS, not the PSC. Could you please advise how the PSC impacts this solicitation?
A: This solicitation is planning to use NAICS code 517311 as the applicable service for Wired Telecommunications Carriers. PSC code 7D20 is the corresponding “product service code” that seems the most applicable to this solicitation and will be incorporated in the subject contract award. The PSC should not impact the solicitation.
2. The Solicitation doesn’t address the possibility of providing alternative solutions. Would the 128th Air Refueling Wing be interested in a VoIP solution as an alternative proposal to the requested services?
A: The answer is “NO” due to our current hardware, and a handful of special lines that require analog POTS service.
3. Could you please tell me if this is a new requirement, or if there is a current or previous contractor who has performed similar services? If available, can you please send along the incumbent contract or task order number?
A: Granite Telecommunications LLC held the previous contract through the National Guard Bureau (NGB.) This contract was centralized at the NGB level, and the contract number is not readily available.
