About this file

This document summarizes a site visit for a federal solicitation seeking ground-to-air radios. The solicitation from the Department of the Army National Guard requires seven radios, including six fixed radios and one mobile radio, to be installed and made fully functional at Fort McCoy in Wisconsin. Offerors must be able to provide radios capable of changing channels throughout the day, with the same model preferred for all requirements. The fixed radios must interface with existing Siemens console systems. The response deadline is September 24, 2021 at 10:00 am CDT. A pre-registered site visit was held on September 14 to provide clarification on requirements such as the preferred capability for command post radios to change channels directly and the existing antenna systems to be used.
