Wing AV Q/A Q1 What is the make of the projector?
A1 Optima Q2 What is the make of the projections screen? Does it have Low Voltage control?
A2 No work is need on the projection screen in room 202. The other rooms do not have a projector. Room 221 will require a TV install as a screen. In room 116 t here is an existing samsung TV that will remain in place Q3 Clarify the sentence "Contractor will provide and configure two (2) wireless handheld vocal microphone transmitters to be used with lavaliers are not desired”.
A3 in room 202 we want the ability to have two hand held mics and two lavalier micsworking at the same time.
Q4 Specifying the port count on the switch is unnecessarily prescriptive and premature design.
A4 That’s not a question.
Q5 What type of table top mics are required? Might they be wireless?
A5 we are not specifying a brand but all components must be compliant with Defense Information System
Agency requirements to be NIPR network compatible. Wireless table top mics are not acceptable from an IA perspective. If they will not be connecting to the computer, and purely function as an independently powered radio and/or volume amplifier, then they could be used.
Q6 Page 13 of “194 Wing AV Upgrade PWS 8 Aug 24 final” states all items must meet DISA APL requirements.
This spec appears to be written for Logitech Rally systems, Logitech is not on the DISA APL. Please clarify if DISA APL applies to all parts or only to parts that appear on DISA APL ie network switch, AVoIP etc.
A6 All device types covered by the DISA APL must be DISA APL compliant. Any device type not identified on the DISA APL must be TAA compliant and approved by the 194th Wing Cybersecurity Office before installed.
Q7 Building 109 Room 202 calls for 1 AVoIP encoder and 1 AVoIP decoder. A simple point to point connection using HDBT technology is a much cheaper solution, is this acceptable?
A7 Both AVoIP and HD Base-Ten technology is suitable. All device types covered by the DISA APL must be DISA APL compliant. Any device type not identified on the DISA APL must be TAA compliant and approved by the 194th Wing Cybersecurity Office before installed.
Q8 What is the estimated ceiling amount?
A8 the ceiling height is approximately 15 feet room 202. 12 feet in rooms 221 and 116. There is no price ceiling associated with this requirment.
Q9 Does the Government require maintenance services? If so, please provide details on the desired maintenance terms and services A9 no Q1
Does the Government require warranty services? If yes, what specific levels of warranty service are needed?
Can you provide detailed specifications?
A10 no Q1
Does the Government prefer any specific brands for this project, or is TAA-compliant equipment sufficient?
A11 We are not specifying a brand. All device types covered by the DISA APL must be DISA APL compliant. Any device type not identified on the DISA APL must be TAA compliant and approved by the 194th Wing Cybersecurity Office before installed.
Q1
Can the Government provide floor plans, drawings, pictures, and room dimensions for each room?
A12 no
Q1
Do you have an existing AV Diagram?
