About this file
This is a Questions and Answers document for RFQ W50S9C-26-Q-A010, the Vermont Air National Guard's Regularly Scheduled Drill (RSD) Lodging solicitation. The document addresses eight clarifications received during the proposal process, covering critical operational and commercial requirements for the lodging services contract.
Key clarifications include: payment will be made via Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) following Federal Purchase Order issuance; the Government will hold and pay for the entire room block with no cancellations permitted once rooms are obligated, accommodating potential delayed check-ins due to rotating shifts; multiple lodging properties may be used if all rooms for a given period/CLIN are at a single location and meet Performance Work Statement requirements and security clearance; tax-exempt documentation will be provided by the Government, eliminating the need for vendors to include state and local taxes in quotes; single occupancy rooms require a minimum of one full, queen, or king bed, while double occupancy rooms must have multiple beds (sleeper sofas do not qualify); incidental charges are the guest's responsibility, with damages pursued through the claims process; and primary contractors may partner with hotel subcontractors, provided the subcontractor is identified and demonstrates technical feasibility in addressing the PWS requirements.
