Number Question Answer

1 Will a site visit be offered?

Site visits are avaliable by request (48 hours in advance) or at 1300 EST 18 SEP and 19 SEP (responding to KO).

PWS 5.3.2. refrences the term disposal, should it be turn in to Government? Correct, PWS revised.

3 Can additional time be allocated for (possible) remedial work?

Please see revised PWS allocated time is 90 days. Performance and any remediation needs to be complete by 29 December.

4 Is this a renewal or new effort? This is a new effort.

To ensure full compliance with pre-award procedures, may we request a copy of Attachement 1 - Level of Effort and Mix of labor

Attachment 1 - Level of Effort and mix of labor, is not provided for this requirement. The contractor shall determine the necessary labor mix to execute the decontamination.

Is the machine allowed to be modified (cut/drilled/etc) to ensure the effectiveness of the decontamination? Yes.

PWS 3.4 states Government will dispose of all waste generated during the project, but PWS 5.3.2 states the contractor will dispose, can you confirm which is correct?

See PWS revisions. The Government is responcible to dispose of the waste, the contrator shall be responcible for the safe handling/decontamination of the machine.

In section 5.2, could you confirm what a "158 bulk enviromental hazardous waste container" is that the contractor needs to put pourous material into?

Removed. No government furnished equipment or supplies are included. The contractor will be responcible for providing all equipment and supplies to perform the decontamination.
