Questions ‐MDG‐PFAS Monitoring Services Questions

W50S9324QA008

1. The PWS reporting does not indicate that data validation should be conducted. Data validated results is a requirement for the government and we feel it should be completed as part of the scope.

Answer: After carefully reviewing the Performance Work Statement (PWS), the contractor is required to perform quality control (QC) and quality assessment as outlined in paragraphs 1.1.8, 1.1.9, 1.1.10, 2.5, 7.0, and 13 in the technical exhibits and submittal list tables. Based on the aforementioned information, charges for QC will be applicable for data validation, duplicates, trips, and blank fields. The PWS has been updated to correct the incorrect cross-reference numbers. I apologize for any confusion caused by the misleading information. An amendment to the publicized notice will be conducted accordingly.

2. The sample methodology does not reflect EPA Method 1633 which is the required method for ground and drinking water for PFAS, would you be amenable to our team including both data validation and EPA Method 1633 in our proposal response?

Answer: EPA Method 533 and 537.1 are the selected methods because all samples will be conducted in drinking water systems, and solid waste or wastewater is not within the scope of work.

3. In order to provide our most competitive bid to the government and provide any additional critical feedback, we wanted to inquire if your team would consider a proposal extension from 20 June 2024 to 25 June 2024?

Answer: Yes, in view that to accommodate these recommended changes more time is needed, an extension will be conducted via amendment to the solicitation notice in SAM.gov.

Is there geographical limitations for contractor’s physical localion that would affect services deliverables turnaround? (Can U.S mainland businesses place offers having a local laboratory subcontracted to render services?

Answer: No geographical limitation. however, proponent should comply with Contract requirements and qualifications..

We are aware that these services are intended to be performed within 30 days, however are there sought turnaround times for deliverables? (samplings, lab reports..Ect)
