Greetings, regarding your request to inspect the facilities current conditions, a site visit was conducted on 9 August as advised in the pre-solicitation notice. Multiple contractors attended the site visit, and an attendance roster was posted in the notice disclosing businesses who participated that day. The government is not planning to conduct another site visit at this time.
However, this does not preclude you from submitting a bid and participating in this requirement as the site visit was not mandatory. There were contractors who contacted us prior to the site visit and decided that they didn’t need to attend the site visit in order to submit their bid. They believed they could gather enough information from the solicitation and from the notice questions and answers in order to do so.
