Can floor plans or bldg specs be provided?
Cell1: 2
Cell1: PWS Section 5.3 requires testing of the installed fiber and connectors in accordance with applicable TIA standards and submission of results to the COR prior to acceptance. Cable Dogs LLC may utilize factory-terminated LC-LC 9/125 single-mode fiber assemblies where practical.
• Will manufacturer factory performance/test documentation, supplemented by connector end-face inspection, continuity/polarity verification, and operational verification of the installed links, satisfy the field acceptance requirement?
• If additional field testing is required, please clarify the light-loss and performance testing expected for acceptance. Specifically, will light-source/power-meter loss testing be sufficient, or are OTDR traces also required? Please also identify any required pass/fail loss criteria and the preferred format for submitted results.

Cell1: During the site visit, Government representatives advised that surface-mounted conduit/raceway installed for this requirement would not need to be painted to match the existing concrete walls.
• Please confirm that new conduit and/or surface raceway installed under PWS Sections 5.1 and 5.2 is not required to be painted or otherwise field-finished to match adjacent wall surfaces.
Cell1: 4
Cell1: PWS Section 1.4.5.2 requires contractor personnel to remain with their designated Government escort while performing services. Certain installation and testing activities may require technicians to work simultaneously at opposite ends of a fiber run.
• Please confirm whether sufficient escort coverage will be available when contractor personnel must work simultaneously at opposite ends of a fiber run for pulling, termination, testing, or troubleshooting.

Cell1: Does the contractor have to qualify for NAICS 238210?
Cell1: 6
Cell1: Does the contractor have to have their NIST SP 800-171 self-assessment score uploaded to SPRS via the Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) before the bid submission?

Cell1: The wage determination (2015-5581, Rev. 32) is a Service Contract Act determination rather than a Davis-Bacon (construction) wage schedule. Please confirm SCA applies to this effort rather than DBA and identify which SCA occupational classification(s) the government expects fiber/cable installers to be conformed under (e.g., Telecommunications Mechanic I/II, Cable Splicer, or a new conformed classification), since no classification is explicitly designated in the PWS for certified payroll reports.

Cell1: 12
Cell1: What TIA standard(s) specifically govern the fiber testing in paragraph 5.3 (e.g., TIA-568, TIA-455-series for optical loss testing), and what test result format/documentation does the COR require for acceptance?
Cell1: 13
