Q&A Document W50S8Z-23-Q-0009 OHWS Solicitation
1. With respect to the above-captioned RFQ, the PWS references contract employees (plural) but does not specify the quantity of Physical Therapists required. Could the Government please clarify the quantity of hours per year for the PT labor category and whether there are any other labor categories required beyond what is listed in PWS 1.4.7?
a. Section 1.4.7 and 5 have been re-written to provide clarity. Additionally, the CLIN structure has been simplified. Please review the amended solicitation.
2. Can you confirm the incumbent for the above effort? If so, could you please provide the incumbent name as well as the contract number?
a. The previous contract number is W912JV-19-P-7019
3. In the PWS, 5.0 REQUIREMENTS, I read it to state we can submit a Physical Therapist or an Athletic Trainer. In the Addendum to 52.212-1, Page 8 (C. Volume II, 1. General) CLIN 001 lists Physical Therapist/Injury Management. May we use an additional Athletic Trainer in this role as opposed to a PT? We appreciate the versatility of the AT beyond the PT.
a. Both section 5 of the PWS and the CLINS Structure on the Combo have been rewritten to simplify and clarify the Government need. Please review the amended solicitation.
4. What facilities and equipment are already on site that we have access to? Is there a gym/fitness facility for strength and performance?
a. The current office space for evaluation and treatment is 640 sq ft. There is a small government gym that meets the needs of the current contractor. However, this does not negate the requirements of the PWS (ex. PWS 3.0 and PWS 4.0).
5. What is the size of the office space we will be working out of? Will it be both for office and treatment and care?
a. The current office space for evaluation and treatment is 640 sq ft. There is a small government gym that meets the needs of the current contractor. However, this does not negate the requirements of the PWS (ex. PWS 3.0 and PWS 4.0).
