About this file

This is a Questions and Answers document for federal contract solicitation W50S8V-26-Q-0003.

The solicitation concerns the refurbishment and reinstallation of a low-pressure filtration air system that has been out of service for approximately eight years. The system includes an Air Systems International filtration unit (model BAC64AAHR, serial number 49980) and a Kaeser compressor (model SK15T, part number 100981.0, serial number 1707). The scope of work encompasses refurbishment and service of the existing compressor, the complete Grade-D air system, piping, ducting, CO monitoring equipment, and test/calibration equipment. The system is used with 3M constant flow full face air masks. A site visit conducted on August 12 was optional and not mandatory for eligibility.

Eligible small-business primes may use qualified subcontractors and installers. Quotes are due Friday, August 28, 2026 at 4:00 PM, with the solicitation extended seven calendar days from an original date. Contractors may submit quotes on company letterhead or use the provided combined synopsis/solicitation document for pricing. No representations are required to be submitted with quotes; the government will verify representations through SAM.gov upon receipt. An additional amendment was planned to update the solicitation closing date and incorporate these questions and answers, which will serve as the controlling final version.
