1In the SOW page 47 section 2.1.16 it has it listed under the WET SIM that an ATP can be added to the refresher training? I think this needs to be amended and 2.1.16 needs to be included under the refresher training section. We do not have the ability to add an ATP done under a WET sim lease. Additionally a refresher that ends with a pilot receiving a FAA ATP rating is a different course and different footprint from a pure refresher done in 3 days. A refresher that results in a pilot receiving an ATP requires 6-7 days of training example; GS days, sim days, LOFT, and a FAA check ride day.Section 2.1.16 was moved into the section above "WET SIM". Section 2.1.16 shouldn't have been included in "WET SIM" section. Please see revised Solicitation document.
2Dry lease. Requires annually a 1 day course on proper use of the simulator, this is an annual requirement and should be listed in the SOW.The government is not familiar with any additional training that instructor pilots are required to complete prior to a dry sim event. The governemnt asks that the contractor provide a copy of the documentation stating that is a requirement.
