About this file

This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) Round 3 for a federal furniture procurement solicitation. The government is procuring furniture for installation across three buildings (164, 108, and 412) at a facility identified as 179 COG.

Key delivery and logistics details include: onsite staging/storage areas are available; no loading dock or freight elevator is present; truck parking is located less than 100 yards from installation locations; one location requires stair carry to Building 164's Warehouse Mezzanine; and the only restriction is the double door entry in Building 164. Specific furniture placement information is provided in a separate "179 COG Furniture Guide" document. No electrical or data cabling services are required, as furniture cords will be managed internally. Regarding security and access requirements for delivery and installation personnel, the government provided no response (A5 is blank).

The Q&A clarifies specific furniture requirements including: L-shaped desks with 30-inch deep surfaces (60"x60"x1"), box-box-file pedestal configuration, wardrobes with hanging rods and optional shelves (legs or bases acceptable), credenzas up to 60"w x 26"h x 18"d with doors and drawers combinations acceptable, and race track conference tables with 48-inch maximum depth. For seating, vendors may propose dimensions within stated ranges; larger lovestats than the 40-44 inch width specification are acceptable. Monitor arms must support one 34-40" horizontal monitor and one 22"-27" vertical monitor simultaneously. Guest chairs may have steel frames rather than walnut wood frames.
