About this file
This document is a Questions and Answers (Q&A) file for Solicitation W50S8P-25-Q-A005 for Local Telephone Services issued by the Ohio Air National Guard. The Q&A reveals key details about the telecommunications requirements, including 46 concurrent call paths, a current 100 MB internet circuit, and an existing Avaya CM-7 system that supports emulated SIP over IP. The current voice provider is AT&T, and the solicitation is for a new requirement with no previous contract incumbent.
The solicitation covers local telephone services for the 121st Air Refueling Wing at Rickenbacker Air National Guard Base and Zanesville Air National Guard Base. Potential vendors are instructed to submit administrative information, including Interconnection Agreements, in Volume One. The government will not permit site surveys at the demarcation points, and international long-distance calling is not authorized. The acquisition will use Simplified Acquisition Procedures with evaluation based on best value, considering technical capabilities, past performance, and pricing.
