About this file

This document is a technical specification and layout drawing for an MQ-9 Aircraft Static Display installation.

The drawing provides detailed engineering specifications for the construction and placement of a static display featuring an MQ-9 aircraft. The display includes three main components: an elevation view showing the aircraft positioned above concrete pier foundations, a landing gear layout diagram indicating wheel positions and spacing (144.0" between main landing gear, 122.4" overall height), and a plan view showing the approximate location of five concrete piers required to support the aircraft. All concrete pier locations must be field-verified with a Government Contracting Officer Representative (COR) prior to any earthwork. The contractor is responsible for coordinating site work with both public and private owned utilities, which shall be field-verified before commencing work. The contractor must restore all disturbed surfaces adjacent to the display and submit well designs to the COR for approval. The concrete piers will support the aircraft and all associated anchoring hardware provided by the Air National Guard. The contractor is required to form, pour, and finish concrete slabs with a maximum compressive strength of 4,000 PSI, prepare sub-bases with compacted structural fill and WWF reinforcement, and ensure all concrete pier locations are verified with the Government COR prior to any earthwork activities. The display accommodates an aircraft with an 18'-8" width and 68"-diameter reinforced concrete slab foundation specifications.
