VBDZ202105 Bldg #25 and Bldg #43 parking Lot, Sidewalks, and Roadway Pavement

1. Q: What if project is awarded late in the fiscal year? When will we know to allow for proper scheduling? Our schedules book very early in the Fall. The statement of work mentions all work being completed within 30 days.

A: The project must be started this fiscal year. Starting the work can include smaller items such as site preparation and minor site work. Paving may occur early next Spring, however must occur as soon as site conditions allow. The 30 day completion requirement would be changed if this becomes necessary.

2. Q: Will there be a phasing plan for this project – to accommodate parking needs?

A: No, the remainder of the base parking areas will absorb the parking. Project areas should be left in a condition that allows for parking during drill weekends. There is one drill weekend each calendar month. Schedule will be shared during the preconstruction meeting.

3. Q: Will any granite curbing remain?

A: All existing granite curbing will be replaced with new granite curbing.
