W50S8H-23-Q-0004
ASOS Human High Performance Optimalization Services
Q1. Can both CLINs be filled by one person who is both a PT & CSCS?
A1. No. Even if one individual had dual qualifications, the intent is still 2 people. The reason, over UTA periods when all of the DSGs are in the building, we need the ability to split responsibilities to maximize time independently with the professional coaches. Therefore, the CSCS can focus on the group dynamic workouts while the PT focuses on individual problem areas through appointments.
Q2. Are we permitted to submit multiple offers?
A2. Absolutely. Each offer will be evaluated separately and on its own.
Q3. Is the PT full-time or 8 hours per week? (it lists 2,080 hours annually and 8 hours per week in different locations of the PWS). Is this one day a week or can the equivalent number of hours be spread across the year to maximize the opportunity to connect with service members?
A3. The PT/IM is not full time. For the PT/IM, we require 8 hours per week and an additional 16 hours during Regularly Scheduled Drill (RSD). We are flexible with the hours being split throughout the week (example: 2x4 hr shifts or 4x2hr shifts), which can be worked out with the actual PT/IM specialist.
Q4. Can the Injury Manager role be filled by a Certified Athletic Trainer or is a DPT or PT credential required?
A4. The PT/IM specialist shall possess a Master’s or Doctorate degree in physical therapy from a credentialed college or university and a valid state physical therapy license with board certification through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS) as either an Orthopedic or Sports Clinical Specialist (O/SCS). So a Certified Athletic Trainer does not meet the minimum requirements.
