Text version
1. Orientation of the billboards (vertical or horizontal) measurements indicate min size is 36' tall by 10'6" wide so this would be a tall rectangle (side of building or something). Is this correct, or should we plan for 36' wide, 10'6" tall from bottom to top?
Yes the billboard is horizontal, 36’ wide 10’6 tall. This is not a strict requirement but something close to size is preferred.
2. PWS, Page 7, 5.1.3 “ Minimal acceptable Ad display sizes for this billboard campaign: 10’6” x 36’.” Would the government consider (5) billboard options of smaller and/or varying sizes given the limitations of inventory throughout the specified market area of interest?
We would absolutely be open to varying options. However, the minimal acceptable size for the billboards is as stated in section 5.1.3 of the PWS.
3. Is there an incumbent? If so, can the government please provide the name or contract #?
This is a new requirement, therefore, there is no incumbent
4. Does the government have an allocated budget?
The government is not obliged to disclose any allocated budget for this requirement at this time.
5. As for the environment, what is below the billboard? This will be important for install access.
Typically the bottom of these is cleared away or sometimes they are even off the road or in a parking lot, but just in case some of these are in less than ideal spots, it would help to know that ahead of time so we can deliver the product in a timely and cost-efficient manner.
The awardee of this contract is responsible for finding suitable billboard locations that will be approved by the government. There are no pre-existing billboards that are already operated by the government.
6. If there is any way we could get a hold of a few pictures of the billboards that would be helpful for us to determine what material will be best suited for longevity, as well as cost efficiency and eliminating material waste. More specific locations of the 5 billboards to be advertised on would also be helpful if that information can be given at this time.
As stated above, there are no pre-existing billboards currently operated by the government. The contractor will be responsible for selecting billboard locations and those locations will be approved by the government.
