At the prebid there was mention of coving at the base of the floor. I assume that the contractor doing the floor will be responsible for removing that. Will the contractor, also, be responsible for applying a new coving or will that be done by the customer?

Removal of the cove base material will be the contractor responsibility. Reapplication will not and will be Civil Engineering's responsibility. 1-Sep-20 02

2 8/21/2020 Will the customer be supplying electrical service to the contractor? if so, will it be 480V 3 Phase?

A generator will be provided by Civil

Engineering 60KW 480v 3phase. Cabling and connections will be Contractor responsibility. 1-Sep-20 02

…as defined in the Labor Categories document (see attachment), labor rates, and man-hours… Could not find the attachment with this information. Where can that be found? WD 2015-4013 Rev 14 1-Sep-20 02

4 8/20/2020 Will this project be passed in order to keep certain sections operational or will we have total access Total access 1-Sep-20 02

Will power to rum our shot blasting equipment be available? Our machine runs off of 208 V, 3 Phase, 60 amps and we can provide a pigtail for hookup.

A generator will be provided by Civil

Engineering 60KW 480v 3phase. Cabling and connections will be Contractor responsibility. 1-Sep-20 02

6 8/20/2020 Should the epoxy continue up the wall slightly (epoxy cove base)?

Civil Engineering can apply an adhesive cove base when the project is complete. It was not intended to be an epoxy cove. If a contractor wanted to include it as part of the bid CE would allow for it. It certainly isn’t a requirement 1-Sep-20 02

7 8/20/2020 Is there a specified 3/16-inch epoxy system or should that be included whiten the submittal?

Dura-Flex was our intended system but if there was a product that was similar that specs out the same 3/16” nominal that meets the rest of the criteria in the specification we would accept. 1-Sep-20 02
