About this file

This document contains a request for information and federal contract opportunity related to a generator installation project. The request for information involves questions about existing generator and electrical infrastructure at several buildings on a naval air station, including requests for drawings, confirmation that wiring and conductors can be reused, and plans for decommissioning old equipment. The federal contract opportunity is a solicitation between $250,000 and $500,000 to install generators at the naval air station over 180 days. The project is 100% set aside for small businesses with a size standard of $16.5M. The solicitation is issued by the Department of the Army Louisiana Army National Guard. Offerors are encouraged to attend an on-site visit in September and funds have been identified but are not presently available, so no award will be made until funding is appropriated.
