SUBJECT: Question Responses W50S7V26QA002 – CRS Wireless Intercom Link Systems

BLUF: Below is a roll-up of responses to all questions that were requested by all interested vendors.

1. Existing/available equipment: The SOW states the system must "function with available equipment." Can you specify what radio, intercom, or communications equipment this system needs to interoperate with (make/model, if possible)?

Response: Function with available equipment: PRC-163, PRC-152A, PRC-117G radios. Invisio T7 OTE Headset (Part # INV1217322), Invisio X7 ITE Headset (Part # INV20551), Invisio V60 Gen 2 Control Unit (Part # INV15142), Invisio V10 Gen 2 Control Unit (Part # INV16249),

2. Number of users/interlinked members: How many members need to be interlinked simultaneously on the system?

Response: Minimum 8 x personnel linked simultaneously.

3. Range requirement: What is the target operating range for "short distance" interlink (e.g., feet/yards/miles)?

Response: Target Range-500 Ft.

4. Redundancy: Can you clarify what "redundancy options" means in this context — backup power, backup channels/frequencies, redundant units, or something else?

Response: Back up power options to existing power supplies (BB-2590, PRC-152/163 batts, ground vehicle power options).

5. Frequency band / encryption: Is there a required frequency band (e.g., VHF/UHF/ISM) or any encryption/security requirement (e.g., Type 1, AES) for this system?

Response: VHF/UHF spectrum. Type 3 AES-256 encryption

6. Environment/use case: Will this be used in a fixed facility, vehicle-mounted, or dismounted/tactical field environment? Any environmental (weatherproofing, temperature, ruggedization) requirements?

Response: Fixed Facility, Dismounted, Vehicle mounted (Helo, ground vehicle, fixed wing (C-130, C-17). Austere and built-up environment capable, all-weather, minimum IP68 weatherproof rated. Desert, tropical, arctic environment capable.

7. Accessories: Does the single unit price (Item 0001, Qty 1 Each) include all headsets, antennas, chargers, carrying cases, and other accessories needed for a complete functioning system, or are those priced/quoted separately?

Response: Single unit includes all operational accessories and components.

8. Could you please clarify whether the system must support communications for two independent teams of up to eight users each?

Response: Yes, we do require two independent teams of up to eight users each.

9. Is a requirement for centralized access to connected radio resources, or if local access via soldier-worn external radios is sufficient for your operational needs.

Response: Centralized access to connected radio resources are required.

Please, review the responses above as your question may not have been directly responded to but could likely be encapsulated by some of the responses above. If that is not the case, please respond to our office accordingly.
