Fire Suppression Questions and Answers
1. For this job, are we to add abort stations with the associated wiring and programming or remove this function if already integrated?
a. Per CETSC guidance MANG doesn’t need the abort buttons.
2. According to the updated drawings posted on SAM, there appears to be (1) room where there is the foam/ water releasing panel that is for both Blg 80 and Bldg 25.
However, Appendix A of the SOW has a quantity of (1) for para. 3.7 Bldg 25 and quantity of (1) for 3.7 Bldg 80. Is 3.7 a total quantity of (1) for both bldgs or is it two separate AC systems?
a. The HEF systems for Bldg 25 and Bldg 80 are separate and distinct systems.
Bldg 80 has its own foam/water releasing panel and Bldg 25 has its own foam/ water releasing panel not shown on drawing for a total of 2.
