About this file
This document contains questions and answers regarding a request for local telecommunication services. The government agency is seeking a SIP-based phone service to replace its existing PRI service. The new service should provide unlimited local and long-distance calling through SIP trunks and plans. While the current system uses Avaya, the new system utilizes Cisco Unified Call Manager. The contractor will be responsible for directly configuring the SIP service on the Cisco platform. Only one SIP port is required initially to support call volume, with potential future growth. International calling is not included in the scope.
The related federal contract opportunity is solicitation number W50S7H-23-R-0002 for local telecommunication services issued by the Department of the Army National Guard. Vendors are invited to propose SIP-based solutions to meet the calling requirements outlined in the questions and answers document.
