About this file
This document is a Sole Source Justification Memorandum for a contract to repair aircraft shelters at the 147th Attack Wing (ATKW) of the Texas Air National Guard. The repair services, valued at an undisclosed amount, will be sole-sourced to Rubb Inc. due to the proprietary nature of the existing aircraft shelter system. The repairs, necessitated by hurricane damage, include replacing 500 polyester cinch straps, 2 pocket tubes, and associated labor. The contract will be a new, firm fixed-price agreement funded through Operations and Maintenance (O&M) funds. The justification for sole sourcing is based on maintaining the manufacturer's warranty, as Rubb Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and the only vendor capable of servicing these specific aircraft shelters without voiding the warranty.
