Request for Information Submitted on or before 13 September 2024

1. RFI 001 - Is this going to be awarded to the total line items (including Option Line

Items 2, 3, 4), Or only to the Base Bid Amount?

Response: The government will evaluates offers for purposes by including only the basic requirement (Clause 52.217-4), or with basic requirement with any option(s) (clause 52.217-3).

2. RFI 002 - It was mentioned at site visit that painting will only be needed for the patches and not the whole walls.

Response: No that is incorrect, the SOW states that 14,500 SF of interior walls (para 1.2.A) need to be painted. What was stated was due to the bad patching completed, minimal texture is being requested to patch work.

3. RFI 003 - What will be the working hours be?

Response: Paragraph 2.7 of the SOW states working hours of 0700-1600 hrs.

4. RFI 004 - Will computes and All personnel items be moved by the customer?

Response: Yes, the contractor will only move the furniture, with the exception of classroom furniture that will be moved by the government.

5. RFI 005 - Can we hand-deliver the original Bid Bond? If not, can we use the same address for FedEx for delivering the Original Bid Bond?

Response: Hand delivery or mailing bid bond is acceptable.

6. RFI 006 - Will there be a revised Section B with updated descriptions identified in Amend 001? I see that pricing will be entered into each column. (i.e. Pg 4 of 45)

Response: Amendment 0002 will have the updated 1442.

7. RFI 007 - Just wanted to confirm if there is a specific price form to use that is in Excel File?

Response: There is not a specific ‘price form” for your company to provide the government when you submit your proposal.

8. RFI 008 - Since there is an Amendment on Section B Supplies or Services and Prices or Costs, are we changing the price form to be submitted as well?

Response: The form is not changing, amendment 0001 shows the description of the what is being corrected/changed. Please review CLIN 0003 and 0004 “ FROM and TO” changes in the amendment 0001

9. RFI 009 - My bond company is asking me if there is a Bond form for this job or if we should use a generic Bond form.

Response: We receive Bid Bonds on the Standard Form 24.

10. RFI 010 - I know there is a bid bond required for this award, but I was wondering, in the SF 1442 it says in 12a that contractor must furnish any required performance and payment bonds and then in 12b it says 10. Does that 10 reflect 10 days after award, meaning that we are not submitting the bond with the proposal, but instead if awarded, we need to submit it no later than 10 days after being awarded?

Response: Performance and Payment bonds are required if awarded the contract, with in 10 days of award.

11. RFI 011 - Another question on this that I did have is how much furniture Will need to be moved? Is it simple unattached the desks and bookcases or is it packing up whole offices?

Response: Pictures have been provided.

12. RFI 012 - Are there any pictures of the inside of the building so that we can know what sort of damages are on the walls at the moment. This is so that I can put in an estimate for how much patching I need to do.

Response: Patching for the most part has been done. Normal screw hole patching will only be needed if anywhere missed. Pictures have ben provided.
