About this file
This is a Statement of Work (SOW) for the fabrication, delivery, installation, and removal of custom mobile beverage cabinets at Building 400 DFAC. The project requires the contractor to provide two identical non-refrigerated commercial-grade mobile beverage cabinets with specific dimensions of 158" Long x 32" Deep x 39" High. The cabinets must feature 14-gauge stainless steel top surfaces, integrated 6" stainless steel backsplashes, 16-gauge stainless steel base construction, and 12" wide solid tray slides. Each cabinet requires integrated heavy-duty commercial hinges on left and right-side doors, intermediate adjustable shelves for storage, and eight 6" casters per unit for mobility. Cabinet 1 must include a pull-out bottom shelf with double slides to accommodate bag-in-the-box syrup systems beneath the soda fountain, while Cabinet 2 requires standard adjustable shelving.
The SOW specifies precise utility access point requirements including pre-drilled holes through the stainless steel top and backsplash for water, syrup, CO2, electrical, and filter lines positioned at specific measurements relative to the splash guard. All utility holes must be deburred and polished smooth. The contractor is responsible for removal and proper disposal of existing beverage cabinets, delivery inside the facility, and complete installation in place. The contractor must coordinate the installation schedule with the Government point of contact. Civil Engineering handles plumbing connections up to the backflow assembly and equipment disconnect/reconnect, while Swire Coke technicians manage soda fountain pre-removal and post-installation connections. Final acceptance will be conducted by the Government designated representative to verify compliance with all specified dimensions, materials, utility hole cuts, and functional requirements. All materials and services must conform to FAR/DFARS requirements for commercial items.

1.0 INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND
The purpose of this Statement of Work (SOW) is to define the requirements for the fabrication, delivery, installation, and removal of old equipment for two (2) custom commercial-grade mobile beverage cabinets. These cabinets will be utilized at Building 400 DFAC to support dining facility operations, housing various beverage dispensing equipment.
2.0 SCOPE OF WORK
The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, engineering, and equipment necessary to fabricate, deliver, and install two (2) custom commercial-grade mobile beverage cabinets. Furthermore, the Contractor is responsible for the removal and proper disposal of the existing beverage cabinets currently in place at the designated facility.
3.0 TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS
The Contractor shall ensure both mobile beverage cabinets meet the following minimum specifications:
• Quantity: Two (2) identical mobile units. (Non-Refrigerated)
• Overall Dimensions: 158” Long x 32” Deep x 39” High.
• Top Surface Construction: Must be constructed from 14-gauge stainless steel to support the weight of heavy dispensing machines (coffee pots, milk machines, soda fountains, ice machines, etc.).
• Backsplash: Integrated 6” high stainless-steel backsplash along the entire rear of the top surface.
• Base Construction: 16-gauge stainless steel body and structural base.
• Tray Slides: Integrated 12” wide solid tray slides constructed of 16-gauge stainless steel.
• Doors & Access: Left and right-side doors, utilizing heavy-duty commercial cabinet hinges.
• Internal Storage and Shelving:
• Cabinet 1 (Housing Coffee Pot, Milk Machine, Soda Fountain, Water/Ice
Machine): The right-side cabinet interior (directly below the soda fountain) must feature a pull-out bottom shelf with integrated double slides designed to accommodate bag-in-the-box (BIB) syrup systems.
• Cabinet 2 (Housing Water/Ice Machine, Toaster, Ice Cream Freezer): Shall contain intermediate adjustable shelves for standard storage.
• Remaining openings/cabinets across both units must contain intermediate adjustable shelves for storage.
• Utility Access Points (Pre-Drilled Holes):
The Contractor must pre-drill utility penetrations through the stainless steel top/backsplash to accommodate lines precisely as specified below:
• Cabinet 1:
Coffee Machine Utility Holes: Two (2) distinct holes positioned directly behind the coffee machine for water and water filter lines:
• Hole 1: Located 14.5 inches from the edge of the cabinet, and 3.0 inches forward of the splash guard.
• Hole 2: Located 18.25 inches from the edge of the cabinet, and 3.0 inches forward of the splash guard.
Soda Fountain Utility Hole: One (1) combined line access hole located directly behind the soda fountain:
Hole: Positioned 3.0 inches forward of the splash guard. This hole will accommodate syrup, CO2, water, and electrical supply lines.
1. Water/Ice Machine Utility Holes:
• Primary Hole: One (1) dedicated hole located directly behind the water/ice machine, positioned 2.0 inches forward of the splash guard.
• Secondary Routing: The secondary line for the water/ice machine must route directly into the same utility hole as the soda fountain lines (3.0 inches from the splash guard).
• Cabinet 2:
2. Water/Ice Machine Utility Holes: Two (2) dedicated utility holes positioned directly behind the machine:
• Holes: Both holes must be positioned 1.5 inches forward of the splash guard.
Finishing Requirements: All utility holes drilled through stainless steel panels must be deburred, polished smooth to remove sharp edges.
• Mobility: Equipped with eight (8) heavy-duty 6” casters per unit (total of 16 casters across both units) to ensure ease of movement, cleaning, and maintenance.

• Removal & Disposal: The Contractor shall be responsible for the removal and disposal of the existing old beverage cabinets in Bldg. 400 DFAC.
• Delivery & Installation: Delivery is not restricted to the loading dock; the
Contractor must transport the newly fabricated cabinets inside Bldg. 400 DFAC and set them completely in place.
• Coordination: The Contractor shall coordinate the installation schedule with the Government point of contact to ensure proper timing for utility disconnections and reconnections.
4.2 Government / Civil Engineering (CE) Responsibilities
• Plumbing: Base CE is responsible for plumbing connections up to the Reduced
