About this file

This document contains questions and answers regarding solicitation number W50S6W23Q0011 from the Department of the Army National Guard. The solicitation seeks a contractor to provide event space and capabilities for two separate classes totaling 150 attendees, requiring two breakout rooms that can each accommodate up to 75 attendees. Clarification was provided that pricing should account for both breakout rooms rather than a single large room. Additionally, while the listed NAICS code relates to convention and trade show organizers, eligible vendors must be registered as a small business under NAICS code 561920 for event planning and facility rental services.

Questions and Answers Question: I wanted some clarification on this solicitation. On the SOW it states: "The contractor shall provide two (2) breakout rooms to accommodate up to 75 attendees each". But on the price list only 1 room is listed for pricing. Just wanted to know am I adding the 2 breakout rooms or am I just providing the 1 large conference room that accommodates 150 guests.

Answer: We will need the two breakout rooms. There are going to be two separate classes going on.

Question: The NAICS code used for this solicitation is 561920 Convention and Trade Show Organizers, however, when we read the SOW, it states that you are looking for a Hotel Representative and not a Convention and Trade Show Organizer. Are you looking for a Hotel (NAICS 721110- Hotels (except Casino Hotels) and Motels) or Convention and Trade Show Organizer (NAICS 561920)?

Answer: The Strong Bonds event is a sort of hybrid requirement that incorporates elements of show organization as well as hotel and venue reservation. The intention of the requirement is to have a contractor provide event space and capabilities for our Chaplain team. Therefore, vendors who provide offerors for award should be registered as a small business under the NAICS of 561920. The key takeaway is the vendor’s small business status must be commensurate with the 561920 in order to be considered for award.
