Hanger 140:

A1: Yes. No additional training but will be escorted while on the airfield and have a FOD walk performed prior to entry of airfield.

2. Will any content be moved like the pelican cases that were around the spaces?

A2: Furniture only

3. The office on the 1st floor, I believe room 137, has wall mounted overheads. Are those included in the move? If so, will we be responsible for remounting the overheads in the new building?

A3: We will remove the wall mounted overheads and remount later on, the furniture will be moved.

4. Would we be able to have split crews during the move? By that I mean having a crew at Hanger 140 and a crew in 2060 at the same time. 1 crew will be loading and 1 will be unloading and assembling.

A4: Authorized for split crews, we would just need to know how many members are in the crews so that we can allocate personnel for escorting.

5. Is flooring protection required in the new building where the floor is not bare concrete?

A5: No

6. Would crew need to get badged for the project or would we do visitor badges for the duration of the project? Based on the process for the site visit, the base access time could add up quickly.

A6: Members will need to be given visitor passes at the main gate to access the installation and they will also have temporary badges at bldg. 2060 that we will coordinate internally.

7. On what date does the Government anticipate the move taking place?

A7: The move shall be complete no later than 60 days after contract award. The contractor will begin submitting access passes as soon as the contract is awarded.

A9: One couch located in the DET office

11. Please confirm if the move of furniture items from Hangar 140 to the 138 Electromagnetic Warfare Squadron building is from first floor to first floor. Or confirm if the offices/locations are on higher floors and stair/elevator access.

A11: Hangar 140 has items on the first floor and second floor of the hangar, however bldg. 2060 is a single-story bldg.

A12: No. It will just be moving them.

Building 2060:

1. Will there be a detailed floor plan provided to give guidance as to where the items should be staged? Also, will the desks be labeled to their new locations?

A8: Either traveling through the secure door with a dial or utilizing the double doors in the secure area there will be a small opening that members will need to move through.

General:

1. Kindly confirm what are the minimum insurance requirements, if any, under this contract.

A1: This is a firm-fixed price contract, for Commercial Products and Commercial Services. We are not requiring any special insurance coverages outside of what would be required at FAR 52.212-4.

2. Does the Government require that we submit Representations and Certifications of any subcontractors at the proposal stage?

A2: That is not a requirement.

Additional:

1. Working Hours: Is it possible for the team to work 12 hours per day instead of 10 hours?

If so, this adjustment would allow us to complete the job more quickly, which may reduce the total cost.

A1: The team can work 12hrs. Keep in mind the pass and ID (Visitor center) does not open till 0700. Coordination will be required with the 138th to set the actual dates/times/plan to execute the move.
