About this file
This is a federal solicitation (Request for Proposal) by the U.S. Army Contracting Command for 9 kHz to 3 GHz Signal Generators for Army Calibration Laboratories. The small business set-aside contract is an Indefinite Delivery, Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) with a 5-year period of performance starting in April 2025. The procurement seeks to replace and improve upon an existing Aeroflex 2023B Signal Generator procured in 2005.
The solicitation requires Signal Generators with detailed technical specifications including frequency range, output power, spectral purity, modulation capabilities, and timebase reference. The contract includes base year and option year quantities for signal generators, rack mount kits, calibration support, verification/alignment hardware and software, and operator and maintenance training. Evaluation will be based on best value, with technical and past performance factors being more important than price. Offerors must submit a comprehensive proposal including a Requirements Specification Matrix, pricing spreadsheet, and past performance information, with potential for discussions and proposal revisions.
