The reason for this Amendment is to post a Question and Answ ers attachment. Also adding DFARS clause, 252.217-7001, Surge Option, to this Solicitation. The following have been added by full text:

252.217-7001 SURGE OPTION (DEC 2018)

(a) "General." The Government has the option to --

(1) Increase the quantity of supplies or services called for under this contract by no more than 50 percent or what would be a total of 150 Uniforms. If the quantity of uniforms is exceeded by more than 10% or by 10 additional uniforms whether standard or flame resistant, or a combination of both, which would be a quantity of over 110 uniforms, and up to 150 Uniforms, the firm fixed price can be reflected to incorporate this increase based on the year in which this occurs to accommodate the additional uniforms. Please note the same Firm, Fixed Price quoted at the time of Solicitation will be the standing cost allowable for the additional uniforms (at the increased percentage based on the number of uniforms). There will not be an allowance for a price increase above the originally quoted costs (please refer to Price Negotiation section (c) (1) below).

(b) "Exercise of option."

(1) The Government reserves the right to exercise this option multiple times throughout the period of performance.

(2) The Contracting Officer will provide a preliminary oral or written notice to the Contractor stating the quantities to be added or accelerated under the terms of this clause, followed by a contract modification incorporating the transmitted information and instructions.

(c) "Price negotiation."

(1) The agreed upon rates found on Attachment 1 – Bid Chart for Pricing Table are the only rates applicable. These originally quoted rates will be prorated based on the percentage of increase.

ADDENDUM

1. This requirement is 100% small business set-aside.

2. Site Visit. A site visit is not planned, however a site visit may be requested through the Contract Specialist, kimberly.m.jurkiewicz.civ@mail.mil and will be scheduled through the Technical Point of Contact. Written request for site visit shall be sent to kimberly.m.jurkiewicz.civ@mail.mil no later than 10 MAY 2021. 3. All proposals shall be emailed to KIMBERLY.M.JURKIEWICZ.CIV@MAIL.MIL by the date and time specified in the solicitation. Please reference the solicitation number “W25G1V-21-Q-0104” in the email. Email shall include the signed copy of the SF 1449 Solicitation, completed FAR Provision 52.204-24 and 52.204-26 (these Provisions are enclosed in the Clause Section of this Solicitation for contractor to fill in), Attachment 1 Bid Chart for Pricing Worksheet, and all items listed in the Proposal Requirements below. Emails not including all of these items may not be accepted.

4. Any resultant award will be a Firm Fixed Price Type Contract.

5. BASIS OF AWARD: The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be the best value to the Government. Three (3) evaluation factors: Technical, Past Performance and Price will be used.
