About this file

This is Standard Form 30 Amendment 0005 to a federal solicitation issued by the U.S. Army Contracting Office at Picatinny Arsenal, New Jersey. The amendment is effective September 14, 2026, and modifies solicitation W15QKN26QA182, originally dated August 25, 2026. The amendment is not extending the offer receipt deadline. Contractors must acknowledge receipt of this amendment prior to the solicitation deadline using one of three methods: completing and returning the amendment form, acknowledging receipt on each copy of their offer, or providing separate written communication referencing the solicitation and amendment numbers. Failure to acknowledge receipt may result in offer rejection.

The amendment addresses a contractor question regarding temporary security measures for the work area. Specifically, the contractor inquired whether 6-foot temporary security panels are acceptable for meeting the Statement of Work requirements addressing temporary signage, barriers, barricades, tape, and construction fencing to control pedestrian and vehicle traffic, as well as maintaining a safe and secure job site at the end of each workday. The government confirmed that 6-foot temporary security panels are acceptable and clarified that the contractor is responsible for providing temporary security of military equipment. The amendment also references Answer 1 from Amendment 0004, which provided measurements for two work areas: Area #1 contains approximately 4,021 square feet with approximately 142 linear feet of fencing, and Area #2 contains approximately 20,752 square feet with approximately 555 linear feet of fencing. The government noted these measurements are approximate and derived from available drawings and advised contractors to verify all quantities and measurements on site. All other terms and conditions of the solicitation remain unchanged and in full effect.
