ESIC, QESA, Laboratory Equipment Maintenance & Emergency Repair Solicitation W15QKN-24-R-0076 QUESTIONS and ANSWERS 15 August 2024
Contractor concern:
We hereby request you to kindly insert the FAR clause into the subject solicitation that gives HUBZone certified firms a 10% price preference on Full & Open / Un Restricted RFP’s, per FAR 19.1307 Price evaluation preference for HUBZone small business concerns.
Government response:
Solicitation is being amended to include clause FAR 52.219-4. By adding this clause, it does bring into play the limitations of Subcontracting for HUBZone certified firms only which means that at least 51% of the contract will need to be performed by a similar situated entity i.e. HUBZone if the HUBZone firm choose to go forward with the price preference FAR Part.
