A4: Please refer to PWS “3. HOURS OF OPERATION. The Contractor shall provide the required services as indicated: a. 0930-1030: Sunday Mass (this is the Catholic Mass) b. 1100- 1230: Sunday Protestant Services c. Holiday Services Named in Para 1: coordinated with the Garrison Chaplain or the RSO NCOIC d. A5: Please refer to PWS “3. HOURS OF OPERATION. d. Weekly 1-hr Rehearsals: coordinated with the Garrison Chaplain or RSO NCOIC in conjunction with the Chaplain of the Protestant service and the Catholic lay representative.” The Garrison Chaplain intends to be flexible coordinating a time for rehearsals with the contractor, however it is expected that the contractor is available to rehearse weekly.

Q6: Must the piano player be of the religious denominations?

A6: No. The piano player is not required to be of any religious denomination. The piano player should simply be able to perform the musical selections for the religious services.

Q7: Is it expected that there would be one player per denomination/mass service or can he/she service both masses?

A7: It is expected that there be one musician to perform both services. There is a brief break between the first and second service, however the musician should expect to return on time, or remain on-site, to perform the second service.

A13: Quotes are due on the Solicitation by 2pm (EST) on 2/29/2024. All quotes are then tabulated and sent to the activity for evaluation. We try to make the award as soon as possible, typically within a week, providing funding is available.

Q14: Upon reviewing the PWS, we observed a total of 6 holiday special services: Christmas Eve Protestant service, Christmas Day Catholic Mass, Ash Wednesday Service, Good Friday Catholic Mass, Good Friday Protestant Service, and the ecumenical Easter Sunrise Service. Q15. Can you provide more clarification on estimated hours for each Holiday service stated in PWS and in reference to CLIN ITEM 0003?

A15: The holiday services should be approximately one hour and be fairly similar to what happens during a normal service.
