Questions and Answers in Regard to Solicitation W15QKN-23-Q-5051

Refuse Collection and Recycling Services Auburn, ME

1. As a self-certified WOSB, can we go forward in submitting a bid for the mentioned solicitation?

Q1 Response:

No. As a set-aside the vendor must be registered and certified as the applicable set-aside with the small business administration. For this requirement, all offerors must be a certified woman or women owned small business.

2. We just wanted to ask how many times does the roll off containers are emptied in a year?

Q2 Response: According the PWS, “5.2.2 ROLL OFF CONTAINERS. The government requires Two

(2) 15 yard roll off containers as needed one each for wood and metal disposal. The pick will be up to 4 times a year per container of each as requested by the RFOS/COR.”

3. If the containers are placed onsite, can we apply rental fee?

Q3 Response: No, this information is included in the price of the quote, not as a separate entity.

4. Is this a Original Set Aside: Total Small Business Set-Aside (FAR 19.5) or is it a 100% woman or women owned set aside, because this solicitation has both indications listed.

Q4 Response: This is a 100% woman or women owned set-aside. The system would not allow for the appropriate NAICS 562111 to be populated under the woman or women owned set-aside, therefore it was put under description.
