Solicitation Questions and Answers

Q1) Are service providers guaranteed 137 trips the first year and 68 for the option period? From reviewing the PWS it looks as though if trips are increased or decreased, we cannot bill for adjustments up or down?

A.) We retain the option to cancel trips 24 hrs. in advance if the classes are cancelled. If additional services over 137 trips or over 68 trips for the Option period are needed, they will be requested on a contract modification.

Q2) What is the invoice cycle? Can providers bill once every 30 days?

A.) Billing is paid on a monthly basis.

Q3) Would the drivers be able to stay at the Training Command and can they get their meals there also?

A.) There is a subway on base where meals could be purchased but the hours are not consistent.

The drivers would not be expected to be on base long, just long enough to stage for pick up and drop off; overnight stays are not available at FHL for drivers.

Q4) For bid submission, is that the 36-page solicitation document? Do you need all 36 pages or just the fillable pages only?

A.) Yes, the bid Submission is the full 36 pages. Only the fillable parts are to be completed.
