QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
W15QKN-22-Q-5038
Snow and Ice Removal Services in Lodi, NJ
January 20th, 2022 REVISED: January 26th, 2022
Q1: How do I place my bid?
A1: You would have to download the Solicitation document in the attachment and fill it out accordingly. You will find where to place your proposal/bid within that document. You would then submit all required documents to me through this email. The Solicitation is for a five year contract, which includes the 12-Month Base Year and four 12-Month Option Years.
Q2: For CLIN 0004, is the price requested for any storm of 14” and over or a price per inch over 14”?
A2: The estimate requested is for a fixed price of any storm of 14” and over.
Q3: In the “Amount” section for each CLIN, would that be the total after multiplying the corresponding quantity and Unit Price?
A3: Yes, multiply the Quantity Given by the Unit Price in your proposal and be sure to provide the Amount for each CLIN.
Q4: What does the quantity refer to under each line item?
A4: The quantity identified on each Line Item is the amount of times that Line Item is estimated to be needed for that year.
Q5: I had a quick question about invoicing and payments. Since this contract is an "on-call" situation, how would the contractors get paid for this type of contract? Monthly? Ad-hoc?
A5: Once a service is performed, an invoice would be submitted for the services performed under the applicable CLINs. A more in depth explanation can be found in the Performance Work Statement (PWS) under Paragraph 1.5.3.1 and 1.5.16.3. Normally, an invoice will be sent after each snow fall, which is defined as such in the PWS under Paragraph 2.1.
