QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS 14 AUGUST 2020

1. In SOW under General Requirements 11.2.1, it states 500 LF of fence repair. Can you please confirm that this area is referenced on the drawing in red. At the walk through, we measured it to be approximately 450 LF.

A: Yes, it was just an approximation, per SOW: "11.3.1.2. Contractor shall demo approximately 500 LF of damaged chain link fencing. All material removed shall be disposed of offsite IAW all Federal, State and Local laws." But that is the area

2. In the Q&A dated 7/31/20, you referenced an additional 100 LF of vegetation to be cleared which is not referenced on the SOW. Please confirm this is to be included.

A: The SOW actually calls for 3600 LF of vegetation removal "11.2.1. The Contractor shall provide all necessary labor, material, equipment, transportation and supervision to accomplish the following work which includes but is not limited to removing of trees, brush, overgrowth and vegetation from approximately 3600 LF of the facility perimeter fenceline and the removal and replacement of approximately 500’ LF of chain link fencing." However, I am really just concerned with the area in front of, on top of, and behind the 500 lf of damaged fence, for vendor access purposes.

3. In the Q&A dated 7/31/20, you referenced vegetation to be cleared 1 ft at front and 5 ft behind fence. Please confirm that 'front" side references along the driveway and 'behind' references the wetlands side.

A: Yes

4. At walk through, we walked the entire fence line perimeter highlighted in green on the plan (see attached). Please confirm all vegetation in those areas is to be removed.

A: No please refer to answer for question "2" we do not want to disturb the wetlands as much as possible. We will only be dealing with the area surrounding the damaged fence
