Solicitation: W15QKN-19-Q-1057
Q: You replied room 104 requires 2 each dual zone units the bid documents show 2 single zone systems, which one is correct?
A: In Paragraph 11.3.2.1, it states that room 104 (2 each) split ductless air conditioning/heater systems. This means this room shall have 2 condensers and 2 evaporators as shown in the drawing. Room 104 shall be cooled and heated with the split ductless systems.
Q: You replied room 110 shall have a dual zone heat cool and room 109 should be cool zone only. If 110 is a dual zone two indoor air handler and 109 is cool only 1 air handler, are they separate systems also when a dual zone or multi zone unit is serving 2 different areas with 2 different temperatures if one is calling for cooling and one for heat? They do not heat and cool at the same time. The first call gets satisfied then it moves to the next.
A: Room 110 shall have one condenser and one evaporator. Room 109 shall have one condenser and one evaporator since we will just be cooling room 109.
