Consideration to Past Performance will still be given/assessed under LPTA however, past performance is not an evaluation factor.
As part of price evaluation, the Government will evaluate its option to extend services (see FAR Clause 52.217-8) by adding one-half of the offeror's final option period price to the the offeror's total price. Thus, the offeror's total price for the purpose of evaluation will include the base period, first option, second option, third option and one-half of the third option. Quoters are required only to price the base, first, second option and third options.
