About this file
This document is a Request for Information (RFI) matrix detailing government responses to industry questions about a 2-Channel Leader Radio procurement. The U.S. Army Program Executive Office, Command, Control and Communications-Network (PEO-C3N) is conducting a two-step sealed bidding process for the final production quantities of a tactical radio capability. Key procurement details include a technical volume submission augmented by oral presentations, potential for multiple contract awards, and a focus on ensuring full specification compliance at the lowest obtainable price.
The RFI specifically seeks industry input on materials and components sourced from China, alternative sourcing options, and potential cost differentials for domestic or allied nation components. The government plans to publish a synopsis on sam.gov for proposal submission, intends to schedule virtual one-on-one meetings with interested parties, and will provide DoD SAFE links for Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) submissions upon request. While detailed pricing is not required, industry is encouraged to provide estimated prices for hardware and ancillary equipment line items, with a preference for responses aligned with recommended economic order quantities.
