About this file

This document is a meeting minutes file from the Nebraska Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) for an Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) Peer to Peer Support 2025 Request for Proposals (RFP) Informational meeting held on April 16, 2025. The meeting, hosted by Keri Bennett from Nebraska VR, included attendees from the Brain Injury Association of Nebraska and focused on providing clarification for potential proposers. The document includes a recorded Zoom meeting link and passcode, and covers two key questions from potential bidders regarding cost proposals and proposal submission requirements.

The meeting minutes specifically addressed two critical procedural questions: first, regarding cost proposals, Nebraska VR clarified that applicants may document additional funding, but the agency can only report in-kind match from state sources for their Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) grant program, not federal sources. Second, the document confirmed there are no character, word, or page limits for any sections of the submitted proposal, giving bidders flexibility in their response format. The informational meeting supports the broader RFP for a peer support program targeting Nebraskans with acquired brain injury, with the goal of expanding access to support services and reducing social isolation.
